"In November 1990, a few dozen A.A.s from
Latvia, Lithuania, and Ukraine gather with their counterparts in Minsk,
Belorussia (now the Republic of Belarus) to coordinate the services in
their respective countries. In April 1991, a second conference will be
held in Riga, Latvia, attracting 180 A.A.s from the same four countries
plus Russia."
